Canada's biggest, most restless city
Toronto, Ontario is Canada's largest city and one of the most multicultural urban centres on earth — over half its residents were born outside the country. Perched on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario, it's a city of distinct neighbourhoods: the Victorian row houses of Cabbagetown, the galleries of Queen West, the bustle of Kensington Market, and the gleaming towers of the Financial District. The CN Tower still anchors the skyline, but Toronto's real identity lives at street level.
